Child and Adolescent Health Program and Policy

VISION
Every child, youth, adolescent, and young adult has access to a healthy life.

MISSION
To promote the health and well being of children, youth, adolescents, and young adults in Los Angeles County through collaboration with other public health programs, private agencies and community-based organizations.

The Child and Adolescent Health Program and Policy (CAHPP) works to identify community organizations, businesses, and other health partners to create a new adolescent health collaborative in Los Angeles County to address health disparities which impact youth and their families. In February 2004, the Los Angeles County-Department of Health Services, Child Abuse Prevention Program merged with the Child and Adolescent Health unit. CAHPP continues to provide child abuse prevention services and resources to providers and families within Los Angeles County.
