The Animal Disease Surveillance System is available for you to report animal diseases to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health - Veterinary Public Health and Rabies Control Program for further investigation.

  Please report:

• Dead birds (for West Nile Virus testing)
• Animal Diseases on Reporting Priority List
• Animal disease outbreaks or die-offs (3 or more affected)
• Animals/Humans becoming ill with same symptoms, same location
• Animal diseases not native to area
• Unusual animal diseases
