The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is looking for caring and dedicated individuals to become substance use disorder treatment counselors and clinicians in one of over 200 partner organizations throughout Los Angeles.


Individuals who pursue this profession learn the latest approaches in treating substance use disorders, also known as addiction, and build valuable skills used to work effectively in teams across different disciplines. Training is the first step toward a promising career in this healthcare field.
