Transportation icon   Youth on the Move

The Los Angeles Metro system of buses, shuttles, and rail services can help you get to where you need to go.

Metro Maps and Timetables


The Youth on the Move Program offers free pre-loaded Metro passes if you were in foster care or probation after age 16, and are currently between ages 18-21. To apply for free Metro passes, contact your ILP Coordinator, go to the ILP Online website, or email.

Transportation icon   Driver's Licenses

As a foster youth or former foster youth, you may apply for driver’s license if you can show proof of financial responsibility and get the application signed by an eligible family member, foster parent, or probation officer/child protective services worker.
