hand hygiene to reduce the spread of disease and illness cannot be overstated. Help promote
the hygiene awareness to educate others on the simple steps they can do to avoid spreading
diseases. Below are education materials that can be downloaded and printed. Additional

All About Hand Washing
Influenza Information
Norovirus Information
- Noroviruses are highly contagious and can cause people to have gastronenteritis,
an inflammation of the stomach and intestines. Hand washing is highly recommended to
protect yourself and others from getting and spreading Noroviruses.
Why Don't We Do It In Our Sleeves (Note:
There is no scientific evidence that coughing in one's sleeve or
on one's arm will reduce flu transmission but viewers might be
benefited by seeing the graphic effects of unprotected
coughs/sneezes on the spread of disease.)
