Recognizing that disease prevention can be modified at various levels of health services, we work with different health services agencies and organizations to obtain, analyze and share data concerning the different communities we serve in order to better understand their needs.

By collaborating with the Department's Office of Health Assessment and Epidemiology, we are able to compile, summarize and share current data, such as prevalence and incidence of: sexually transmitted diseases, chronic diseases and obesity rates. Our hope is to work with other programs and initiatives in Los Angeles County to positively impact and modify lifestyle behaviors.
