SPA 3 - San Gabriel Service Planning Area - Data Resource
The Data Resources area includes data and information from public and private organizations to help promote information dissemination. SPA 4 collaborates with numerous County programs and external agencies to collect, analyze, explain, and disseminate public health data.
The 3 categories of information below will help you better understand the health and environment of residents in the San Gabriel SPA 3 population. In order to fulfill our mission, we work closely with other community groups within LA County to utilize data, technology, and planning resources, as well as political and managerial skills to protect and improve the health of residents.
Asian Pacific Islander Demographics The Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) launched a series of demographic reports on 20 API ethnic groups in California and in 3 Southern California counties.
WIC (Women, Infants and Children Program) Demographic Data Data from all 7 WIC programs in Los Angeles County provide a look at county-wide trends by health indicators such as overweight status, diabetes and premature births. Information is grouped by SPA, year and demographics.
Alhambra Health District Data (PDF, 110KB) Health statistics are available for the 39 square miles and over 350,000 residents of SPA 3's western region.
Foothill Health District Data (PDF, 140KB) Health statistics are available for the 460 square miles and over 295,000 residents of SPA 3's northern region.

Pomona Health District Data (PDF, 110KB) Health statistics are available for the 134 square miles and over 512,000 residents of SPA 3's eastern region.
