Presentations Designed for Nursing Student Orientation
The following handouts are presentations developed by
the various Programs in Public Health. They were
designed to be used in conjunction with an one-day
orientation provided to all Public Health university affiliated nursing
students.
District Public Health Nurse Instructional Posters
The Instructional Posters are learning tools designed to aid in the orientation of new District Public Health Nurses and student nurses
as outlined in the Public Health Nurse Standards of Practice located in the Practice Manual. These
tools provide a step by step guide in the management of mandated work presented to the Public Health Nurse.
