KING/DREW MEDICAL CENTER SEEKS NURSE LEADERS
Teaching Hospital Seeks Qualified Nurses To Fill Key Vacancies;

LOS ANGELES – To address its current nursing shortage and fill vacancies in key departments, the Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center (KDMC) will host an RN Job Fair on Wednesday, May 11. Nurse recruiters from other County hospitals will also be onsite. Licensed nurses, recent graduates and others interested in nursing careers are invited.

The Job Fair will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Interns and Residents Building, 12012 Compton Avenue, Los Angeles, 90059. Licensed candidates should bring documentation and can visit http://dhr.lacounty.info for more information. Qualified candidates will be eligible for a competitive package that includes tuition reimbursement, bonus salary and full County benefits.

Multiple positions are available in the specialties of Emergency Services, Medical Surgical, Pediatrics, Critical Care, OB/GYN, Labor/Delivery, Psychiatry, and Neonatal ICU. The hospital is also recruiting one (1) Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Clinical Director/Nurse Manager positions. As an urban teaching hospital, KDMC provides a unique opportunity for RNs to obtain specialty training while serving a diverse, underserved population.
