To protect and improve the health of Los Angeles County residents through facilitating and coordinating performance measurement and improvement by all components of Public Health.
Vision
All components of Public Health are continuously and collaboratively improving performance to maximize the health of Los Angeles County residents.
Our office staff consists of three persons. The goal of our efforts is to measure and improve the performance of the Public Health organization that serves Los Angeles County. We have specific initiatives to track measures of performance both at the organizational level and within each of the nearly 40 distinct "programs" that make up LA Public Health. Conceptual work and training to develop and implement these initiatives began in 2002 and is ongoing.
