About US
We are a team of public health professionals responsible for the Antelope Valley area. As a dedicated team, we approach public health issues from diverse experiences. Currently we are working on a number of projects to serve our community, which include:1. Creating an online resource with information and links about important health information for the community.
2. Working to analyze important health data and communicate these data to the public.
3. Educating our community members about health-related topics that will improve their quality of life.
4. Serving the public health needs of the local health care facilities.
We look forward to a future in which we will continue to be an active and valuable member of this community.
Mission Statement
Vision: Healthy people in healthy communities.Organization: The Antelope Valley Service Planning Area 1 (SPA 1) is one of eight areas in Los Angeles County, created with the purpose of improving the public's health based on the health needs of local communities.
SPA 1 communities include:
Acton Antelope Acres Gorman Green Valley Lake Hughes Lake Los Angeles Lancaster Leona Valley Littlerock Llano Palmdale Pearblossom Quartz Hill
The SPA 1 boundaries are Kern County to the north, San Gabriel Mountains and Santa Clarita to the south, San Bernardino County to the east, and Ventura County to the west.
