Since May 2002, the Women's Health Mobile Clinic Outreach Program has been providing free comprehensive health assessments to low-income women in various locations throughout Los Angeles County. Screenings include hypertension, cholesterol, diabetes, cervical cancer, clinical breast exams and gynecological exams. Staff are able to assist women in English, Spanish, Armenian, Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese. This innovative program is designed to reach women who would otherwise not be able to access services.
