The Promising and Innovative Practices Poster Session featured at the 2007 Women’s Health Policy Summit emphasized community-based and grassroots programs successfully addressing health disparities.

The Poster Session highlighted multicultural and multilingual examples of effective and innovative models, tools and programs which serve to improve the health and mental health of women and adolescents in Los Angeles County.

Showcasing Promising and Innovative Practices brought attention and recognition to extraordinary programs and people who work everyday to improve the wellbeing of women and girls.
