Environmental Justice and Climate Health Data Resources
The Office of Environmental Justice and Climate Health leverages publicly available data to develop tools and resources that inform policy and program planning and engage communities on environmental and climate related topics across Los Angeles County. These resources are designed with a focus on frontline and vulnerable populations that are disproportionally impacted by environmental and climate burdens.
Available tools include an interactive Map of Oil and Gas Facilities and Industrial Sites, Environmental Profiles for Selected Unincorporated Communities, a Heat-Related Illness Data Brief, and an Inventory of Available Environmental Justice and Climate Health Data Resources. These resources aim to increase transparency, support data-driven decision making, and promote environmental health equity.
