Program Goal
The goal of the Ask the
Dietitian
(ATD) Los Angeles County Program is to increase
consumption of California grown produce and to foster public
private partnerships with the Farmers’ Markets, local
organizations and the Department of Public Health, by
maintaining a visible presence in communities in Los Angeles
County.
The Ask the Dietitian Los
Angeles County Program runs from March to November of each
year. Healthy recipes emphasizing fruits and vegetables
available at farmers' markets are provided at our
