The Drinking Water Program is responsible for regulating small water systems and wells pursuant to State laws and regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND SERVICES: Reviews plans and performs inspections and surveys of all small water systems Checks the levels of bacteria, chemicals, and other elements within these systems Involved in work plan approvals for construction and decommissioning of private water wells and monitoring wells within the County of Los Angeles Field inspections for well permits
