The Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Commission (NDDC) is the advisory board on drug programs in Los
Angeles County. Appointed by the Board of Supervisors, the nineteen-member Commission advises and
makes recommendations to the Board and the Alcohol and Drug Program Administration on a variety of
planning and policy issues related to the County drug programs. The NDDC has four Standing
Committees: Education/Prevention, Executive, Planning and Budget, and Program/Evaluation.
The NDDC meets at 1:00 p.m. on the third Wednesdays of each month. Most meetings are held in
the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, 500 West Temple Street, Los Angeles. Meetings are open to the public.
