At-risk Afterschool Programs

At-Risk Afterschool Programs providing food service under the United States Department of Agriculture's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) receive food safety inspections to verify compliance with the California Retail Food Code. All food prepared foods must come from a facility with a valid public health permit. If any food is stored onsite, the after-school program must meet California Retail Food Code requirements.
